American Idol Finale!

Can you believe it this week is the finale? I could not believe this is the last week of the show. The season has gone by so quick this year.

They were at the Nokia Theater in L.A.. Over 7,000 fans were there. 

Tueday Night:

Themes for this week:
Simon Fuller picks, Contestants favorite performance and The song the will release if they win.

Round 1: Simon Fuller Picks-
Jessica- She sang "I have Nothing" by Whitney Houston. This was alright not her best.
Phil- He sang "Stand by Me" by Benny King. This song I really like a lot and he did an awesome job with it.

Round 2: Contestants Favorite Performance-
Jessica- She sang "The Prayer" by Celine Dion. This is the song that got her into the top 24. This time it was alright.
Phil- He sang " Movin' Out" by Billy Joel. He sang this for Billy Joel week. Both times he has done an awesome job with the song.

Round 3: The Song They Will Release If They Win-
Jessica- She sang "Change Nothing" by Pedro Costa. Great performance.
Phil- He sang "Home" by Dierks Bently. Awesome.

Jason sang "Undefeated" the coke song. It was alright.
Scotty McCreary sang "Please Remember Me" I love this song.

Wednesday Night:

Over 132 million votes came in.

Opening song was with the top ten tehy sang "Runaway". That was Great.

Phil sang with John Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival they sang "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and "Bad Moon Rising" they sang awesome together.

Joshua and Fantasia they sang "Take Me To the Pilot" by Elton John. I didn't like this performance at all.

Top 10 Girls sang "Ain't Nobody" and "I am the Woman". They did alright.

Rihanna she sang "Where Have You Been" I didn't care for this.

Skylar and Reba McEntire they sang "Turn on the Radio" This was awesome. If you looked at the two of them sing it looked like mother and daughter.

Jessica she sang "I Will Always Love You" it was alright.

Top 10 guys and Neil Diamond they sang "Coming to America", Play it Now" and I'm a Believer". This was so awesome.

Jennifer Lopez she sang "Goin' In", Step Up Revolution" and "Follow the Leader". I didn't care for this.

Jordon Sparks and Hollie sang " You'll Never Walk Alone" it was alright.

Top 10 guys sang Bee Gee songs in memory of Robin Gibb. They sang "How Deep is your Love"How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" and "To Love Somebody". They did an awesome job with all the songs.

Jessica and Jennifer Holiday they sang " I am Telling You I am not Going". I did not like this performance at all.

Aerosmith they sang "Legendary Child" and "Walk This Way". I really love this band and I am going to see them at Summerfest. They had an awesome performane tonight.

Jessica and Phil- They sang "Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong". This was awesome.

Runner up is Jessica.

Season 11 Next American Idol Winner is Phillip Phillips.I had to put one of his goofy pictures here.

Scotty McCreary handed him the statue. Then Phillip sang "Home". while he was singing he broke down crying and stopped singing. Then he went down into the audience by his family. I was picking him to win since the top 24. Because he can sing any song you give him and make it his own song. You are more than welcome to leave any comments.

American Idol Top 3!

Yes I know  I have missed last weeks. Hollie was sent home last week. I am sorry about that I was not home and not by a computer.

So now we are down to three contestants for this week.

Wednesday Night:

Theme- Songs picked by the judges, contestants get to pick a song and Jimmy gets to pick a song.

Judges Picks:
Joshua- He sang "I'd Rather go Blind" by Etta James. It was alright not what I thought he would sing for a night like this.

Jessica- She sang "My All" by Mirah Carey. It was alright not her best song for a night going to the finals.

Phil- He sang "Beggin'" by Madcon. This was awesome and this is the kind of song you want for a night like this.

Contestants Picks:
Joshua- He sang "Imagine" by John Lennon. This was an awesome song for him to pick. I just loved it and he did an awesome job with it.

Jessica- She sang "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. She did a great job with the song and pick the right time to sing it.

Phil- He sang "Disease" by Matchbox 20. I think he did an awesome job with the song like always.

Jimmy's Picks:
Joshua- He sang "No More Drama" by Mary J. Blige. This was a great performance just what he needed.

Jessica- She sang "I'll Be There" by The Jackson 5. This was alright not a song for her.

Phil- He sang "We've Got Tonight" by Bob Seger. This was an awesome song for him and an awesome performance. It showed his sensitive side that we needed to see.

Thursday Night:

The opening song was done by the three contestants they sang Gotta Get You Into My Life by the Beatles. They did a really good job with the song. 

Lisa Marie Presley sang You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. This was alright and this was also the first time she was on the show.

Adam Lambert sang Never Close to Our Eyes. This was really good and he actually looked decent for a change. He was on Idol three years ago.

Results:
Jessica- Safe

Joshua- Went home and he sang Man's Man World.

The finale will start on next Tuesday and Wednesday. They will be at the Nokia Theater in L.A..
The top 11 will be there.
The new coke song will be performed that night.

Also found out there will be auditions in Chicago, Il on July 12th.

American Idol Top 4!

Yes it was another bad week for American Idol. Another awesome contestant went home last night. I will let you know what I think of the person that went home this week at the end of this post.

Wednesday Night:
Theme this week was the 60's and Britt Pop.

Mentor this week was Steven Van Zant from Bruce Springsteen's band.

First Round 60's:
Hollie- She sang "River Deep Mountain High" by Tina Turner. It was one of her better performances and yes I did like it.

Phil- He sang "The Letter" by The Box Tops. This was awesome and yes he did it again.

Skylar- She sang "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. This was another one of her awesome performances.

Joshua- He sang "Ain't To Proud to Beg" by The Temptations. This was a great performance by him.

Jessica- She sang "Proud Mary" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. This was not a song for her and the outfit was not one for her to be wearing it made her look to old.

Round 2 Britt Pop:
Hollie- She sang "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis. It was alright not her best.

Phil- He sang "Time of the Season" by Dave Matthews. Another awesome performance by him.

Skylar- She sang "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" by Dusty Springfield. This was so awesome I loved it.

Joshua- He sang "To Love Somebody" by Bee Gees. It was so great I really like it.

Jessica- She sang "You are so Beautiful" by Joe Cocker. I did not like this one for her. The song is not one for her.

Duets:

Phil and Joshua- They sang "Lost That Loving and Feeling" by Righteous Brothers. This was awesome I really enjoyed it by them.

Skylar, Hollie and Jessica- They sang "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher" by Jackie Wilson. This was really good I did like it.

Thursday Night:

Carrie Underwood sang "Blown Away". Debut from her new album, she was also the winner from 2005 American Idol. The song was awesome I really like it.

Coldplay- They sang two songs "Paradise" and "Is A Waterfall". I really never heard their music before and I really like their music.

Over 60 million people voted this week.

I said I was going to say how I feel about this week. The one that should have gone home was Hollie. She is not doing her best on the show. Skylar puts a 110% in every performance every week. If you ask me this is a bunch of B.S.. This is three weeks in a row that the good people are leaving. I am talking about Colton, Elise and no Skylar. Then Hollie is still there, this is not fair at all.

American Idol Top 5!

Yes it was another week of American Idol and a very big upset to me. The person that went home should have never went again. This is really getting bad for me.

Wednesday Night:
Theme of the week was Queen. This is a really great band, but really hard to sing there songs.

Mentors this week was from the band Queen it was Brian May the guitar player and Roger Taylor the drummer. They sat down and talked with all the contestants together. I thought that was great talking to all of them together.

Opening the show was all the contestants with Brian and Paul. They sang Fat-Bottom Girl, Another One Bites the Dust and We Will Rock You. This was excellent to watch and listen to. I really enjoyed it.

The contestants sang a song from Queen and they got to choose their second song.

So here is what they sang from Queen:

Phil- He sang "Fat-Bottom Girl". I thought it was awesome and he keeps getting better with what ever he sings.

Skylar- She sang "The Show Must Go On". This was another awesome one and she also keeps getting better with what she sings.

Elise-  She sang "I Want It All". I thought this was awesome just like when she sang Zeppelin.

Joshua- He sang "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". It was alright not his best performance. To me that is not his kind of a song.

Jessica- She sang "Bohemian Rhapsody". This was not a song for her to do. She is better with a different kind of song. It just was not her up there.

Hollie- She sang "Save Me". She was alright not her best either.

Contestants song choice:

Jessica- She sang "Dance with my Father"  by Luther Vandross. It was alright not her best at all.

Skylar- She sang "Tattoos on this Town" by Jason Aldean. This was awesome and she is great with what ever song you give her.

Joshua- He sang "I'm Ready for Love" by Drake. It was alright not his best.

Elise- She sang "Bold as Love" by Jimi Hendrix. She was awesome with this song and Wallace played the guitar on stag with her.

Phil- He sang "The Stone" by Dave Mathews. This was awesome and like I said earlier give him a song and he will sing it his way and that is what he did.

Hollie- She sang "It's a Climb" by Miley Cyrus. This was one of her better performances.

The judges picked Skylar for best of both performances.

Thursday Night:

Queen Extravaganza sang "Somebody to Love". It was awesome then Brian and Roger came out towards the end of the song. That made it even better.

Katy Perry sang "Part of Me". I never listen to her music so I really can't say anything.

Stephano from season 10 sang "I'm on a Roll". It was alright.

Casey was there from season 10 talking about last season's tour.

American Idol Top 6!

Yes last night another contestant went home. It was a very upsetting night for me. The person that went home should have never went. I will explain later.

The theme was Now & Then.

No extra mentor this week.

Wednesday Night:
All the contestants had to sing two song this week. One was a current song and one was from back in the day.  Here is what they sang and how I think they did:

Current Songs:
Hollie- She sang " Rolling in the Deep" by Adele. She finally found herself and I did like her performance tonight.

Colton- He sang " Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. He was awesome. I really like this one.

Elise- She sang " No One" by Alicia Keyes. This was great and I really thought she did great.

Phil- He sang " You Got it Bad" by Usher. This was awesome and he can always sing what ever you give hime to sing, he also sings it his own way.

Jessica- She sang " Falling" by Alicia Keyes. This was not her best song. She has had better performances in the past.

Joshua- He sang " I Believe" by Fantasia. This was a great performance by him tonight. But still not his best.

Skylar- She sang " Born this Way" by Lady Gaga. This was a awesome performance by her. Give her a song and she will sing the song and do it her own way.

Back in Time: This is suppose to be like Soul Train-
Hollie- She sang " Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield. This was really good by her.

Colton- He sang " September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. This was a great performance but not his best.

Elise- She sang " Lets Get it On" by Marvin Gaye. This was alright not her best.

Phil- He sang " Wait Till the Midnight Hour" by Wilson Picket. This was awesome by him.

Jessica- She sang " Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding. I really didn't like this song for her. This was not for her.

Joshua- He sang " Change is Going to Come" by Sam Cook. This was alright not his best song.

Skylar- She sang " Heard it Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye. This was awesome and she did it her own way and I loved it.

Thursday Night:

There is no more save. It was used last week so the judges can't do anything.

Kris Allen sang " The Vision of Love". This was awesome by him. He is also the winner from Season 8.

LMAFO sang " Sorry For Party Rocking". I thought I was at a circus watching these guys. I honestly did not know what I was watching on the t.v.. I am sorry for saying this they are a sorry excuse for a rock band.

Over 53 million people voted Wednesday night.

The contestants sang " Dancing in the Street".

American Idol Top 7!

Yes another week came and went. But this week something really crazy happened. I will let you know.

The finale show will be in about a month.

Tommy Holfinger stopped by to help the contestants this week.

The mentor was A Kon.

This is what they sang and what I thought about each one of them and also there was duets again. Here we go for Wednesday Night:

Skylar- She sang " Sidn't You Know" by Kelly Pickler. I really liked this song for her she was awesome. She knows how to make a song her own.

Colton- He sang " Love The Way You Lie" by Skylar Gray. He was so awesome. He can always remake a song for himself.

Jessica- She sang " Stuttering" by Jazmine Sullivan. She did a good job but not her best song so far.

Joshua- He sang " Runaway Baby" by Bruno  Mars. I really like this performance by him a great one.

Elise- She sang " You and I" by Lady Gaga. You could not tell this was a Lady Gaga song. She did a great job with this song I really liked it.

Phil- He sang " Give A Little More" by Maroon 5. I think he had a awesome performance. He is just up there being himself not trying to be someone he is not. That is what I really like about him. He can sing any song you give him.

Hollie- She sang " Perfect" by Pink. This was not a song for her. But it was alright. The dress has to go because she looked half human and half duck.

The Duets:

Elise and Phil- They sang " Somebody I Use To Know" by Gotye. This was a great job by the two of them.

Colton and Skylar- They sang " Don't You Want To Stay" by Jason Aldeen and Kelly Clarkson. This was an awesome performance them. They can sing anything together.

Joshua, Jessica and Hollie- The sang " What Doesn't Kill You" by Kelly Clarkson. They did a good job. Jessica tries to over power everyone else so she can be heard. I don't think that is good for anyone to do.

Here we go for Thursday Night:

James Durbin- He sang " Higher Than Heaven" this was awesome I really liked it. His album sold over 100,000 Copies. He is on tour with different singers.

Jennifer Hudson and Ne-yo. I didn't catch what they sang. I am sorry.

American Idol Top 7!

Yes another week has come and gone for the contestants. That means another contestant has been sent home.

This week the songs are from the decade of the 80's.

Then mentors are Gwen and Tony from the group No Doubt.

This is from Wednesday night:

Deandre- He sang I Like it by Debrag. This was not his best performance.

Elise- She sang I want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner. I think she did a great job with the song.

Phil- He sang That Song by Genesis. This was an awesome performance. He also had his brother Ben playing the guitar with him on stage.

Joshua- He sang If You Don't Know Me By Now by Simply Red. He had a great performance with this song.

Jessica- She sang How Will I Know by Whitney Houston. This was a good performance not her best.

Skylar- She sang Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. This was an awesome performance by her.

Colton- He sang Time After Time by Cindi Lauper. This was an awesome performance and it shows he can make any song his own.

Hollie- She sang What A Feeling by Irene Cara. I really like her performance not one of her best ones.

The also had the contestants do duets here they are:

Colton and Skylar- They sang Islands In The Stream by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. The did an awesome performance.

Hollie and Deandre- They sang I'm So Exited by The Pointer Sisters. It was alright.

Phil and Elise- They  sang Stop Dragging My Heart Around by Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks. This was an awesome performance. Phil's brother was playing guitar on this song also.

Joshua and Jessica- They sang I Knew You Were Waiting For Me by George Michaels and  Aretha Franklin. They did a great job with this performance.

Then on Thursday night:

Kelly Pickler came back to the show and she sang "Where Is Tammy Wynette". This is an awesome song by her. She also sat and talked with Skylar back stage. Kelly was a contestant on the show back in 2006.

The Wanted is a British Pop Group that sang "Glad You Came". I don't know the band but not a bad song.

American Idol Top 8!

Yes tonight another contestant is going to leave.

The contestants will be singing a song from their idols.

They will also being singing in groups of three tonight.

Stevie Nicks is a mentor tonight, also Jordon Sparks and Dionne Warwick was in the audience tonight.

Wednesday Night-

Here are the songs, the artists of the songs and what I thought of the performances:

Colton- He sang "Everything by Lighthouse. This was an awesome performance.

Skylar- She sang "Gun Powder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert. She did an excellent performance.

Heejun- He sang "Song for You" by Leon Russell. This was alright he did do a good job with the song. 

Hollie- She sang "Jesus Take the Wheel" by Carrie Underwood. This was an awesome performance for her.

Deandre- He sang "Sometimes I Cry" by Eric Benet. This was really different by him and he did alright.

Jessica- She sang "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce'. She did a good job with the song.

Joshua- He sang "Without You" by Miriah Carey. He did a great job with the song.

Elise- She sang "Whole Lottta Love" by Led Zeppelin. This was an awesome job with a great song. This is the hardest song to do tonight. But she pulled it out.

Phil- He sang "Still Raining" by Johnny Lang. This was an awesome performance and one of his best ones.

The Trios songs:

Colton, Elise and Phil sang songs by Fleetwood Mac- Edge of 17, Don't Stop and Landslide. The did an awesome job with these songs.

Deandre, Heejun and Joshua sang songs by Michael Jackson- Lady in my Life, Feel the Heat and PYT. The did a good job with the songs.

Skylar, Hollie and Jessica sang songs by Madonna- Like a Prayer, Border Line and Express Yourself. The did a great job with the songs.

They all sang like they are there to win tonight and gave their all with the songs tonight. They really surprised me.

Thursday Night-

Nikki Minja sang "Starship". I don't know the song.

Scotty McCreery sang "Water Tower Town". I really like this song. He was also presented with a Platinum Album Award for his Clear as Day Album. The award was presented on stage by Jimmy.

American Idol Top 9!

Yes last night one of these contestants to the right went home last night.

This week the theme for the songs was Billy Joel. Yes all of the contestants had to pick a song by Billy Joel and there are a lot of songs to chose from.

The mentor for this week was P-Diddy. There was also a fashion mentor that was Tommy Hill.

Wednesday night what each contestant sang and what I thought of their performance.

Deandre- He sang "Only The Good Die Young"- He did a good job with the song.

Erika- She sang "New York State of Mind"- She did a great job with the song but the new look I did not like.

Joshua- He sang "She's Got Away"- Not bad I did like it.

Skylar- She sang "Shameless"- I thought her performance for this song was great. I really liked it.

Elise- She sang "Vienna"- Awesome job.

Phil- He sang "Movin' Out"- This was an awesome job with the song and he made it his own again.

Hollie- She sang "Honesty"- I think she did a really great job with this song.

Heejun- He sang "My Life"- I really like how he came out and just ripped the jacket and shirt off and was himself. This was really awesome for him to do.

Jessica- She sang "Everybody Has a Dream"- I was alright but I think this was more of a safety net for her.

Colton- He sang "Piano Man"- This was an awesome song for him and he did an awesome job with it too.

Randy said it that night about the contestants making the songs their own.


Thursday night-

All the contestants came out and sang "For The Longest Time".
Hailey came back on the show and she sang one of her songs "Free". This was an awesome song by her.
Casey from last season was in the audience.
Lana Delrey sang and she was alright. I did not catch the name of her song.
Joe Perry from Areosmith showed up and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to Steven. His birthday is this weekend.

American Idol Top 10!

Yes as of last night it is the top 10 contestants. They will be the ten going on tour this summer.

A lot has happened on the show this week and I will tell you all about it.

Wednesday Night-

There was one contestant that was eliminated before the show aired Wednesday. That was Jermaine and the reason he was eliminated is he has four warrants out for him, two of the warrants is for giving fake names. The producers of the show found out about this and questioned him. Jermaine told them it is true and asked him why he didn't tell them, he said he was afraid to tell them.

The mentor this week was Will I Am.

The music they had to pick was from the year the contestants were born. I have the years for each of them.

Here is the year they were born, the song they chose and what I thought of the performances-

Phil- Born 1990, he sang "Hard to Handle" it was an awesome performance he can sing anything. He also had surgery on Tuesday and still was there to perform.

Jessica- Born 1995, she sang "Turn the Beat Around" she did a great job with the song.

Heejun- Born 1989, he sang "Right Here Waiting" it was all right not his best.

Elise- Born 1983, she sang "I'm So in Love With You" this week she did a lot better. She was in here zone this week.

Deandre- Born 1994, he sang "Endless Love" not to bad he could have done a lot better.

Shannon- Born 1995, she sang "One Sweet Day" for some reason she has not been doing her best lately. I know she could have done a lot better.

Colton- Born 1991, he sang "Broken Heart" this was a great performance by him. He knows how to make the song his own. He also went out for dinner with Daughtry this week.

Erika- Born 1985, she sang "Heaven" she did an awesome job with the song. I really like her voice.

Skylar- Born 1994, she sang "Love Sneaking up on You" for some reason you can give her any song and she can sing her heart out and she knows how to make it her own.

Joshua- Born 1992, he sang "When a Man Loves a Woman" he did an awesome job with this song.

Hollie- Born 1993, she sang "Power of Love" she did a great job with the song.

Thursday Night-

Daughtry performed his song "Outta My Mind". I really like this song. I do like some of his music.

Debbie Lovato performed her song "Give Your Heart A Break". It was alright I really don't know her music.

American Idol Top 12!

Yes as of Thursday night one more has gone home. I did watch both nights to see how everyone had done.

On Wednesday night the guys had to sing a song by Stevie Wonder and the girls had to sing a song by Whitney Houston.

Right now it is called the girls verse the guys.

Here is what each of them sang and how I thought they did-

Joshua- He sang " I Wish" this was not one of his better performances but it was a good one.

Elise- She sang " I'm Your Baby Tonight" it was alright not the greatest.

Jermaine- He sang " Knock Me Off My Feet" I think it was a really good performance by him and he did really good for his deep voice on it.

Erika- She sang " I Believe In You and Me" this was one of best performances she did a great job.

Colton- He sang " Lately" he did a great job with this song.

Shannon- She sang " I Have Nothing" this was not one of her best performances. She could have done a lot better with this song.

Deandre- He sang " Master Blaster" he did a great job with this song.

Skylar- She sang " Where Do Broken Hearts Go" She did a awesome job with her song. With her you can tell what ever song you give her to sing she will be able to sing it.

Heejun- He sang " All In Love is Fair" he did a good job with this song.

Hollie- She sang " All The Men That I Need" she did a really good job with this song.

Jeremy- He sang " Ribbon in the Sky" he could have done a lot better. This was not his best performance at all.

Jessica- She sang " Will Always Love You" this is the hardest song to sing by Whitney Houston and she did an awesome job with it. This is the best I have ever heard it sang. She is the one to beat right now.

Phil- He sang " Superstitious" this was an awesome job because he made sang it his own way. He is another one to try to beat this year.

Thursday night:

The way this elimination is going to go is, America gets to pick the bottom one of the girls and guys then the judges get to pick who is going home.

All the contestants sang together at the beginning of the show.

The runner up from last year Lauren Alaina came to sing her single " Georgia Peaches". Right now she is touring with Jason Aldeen.

Mary J. Blige was the mentor this week and she also sang her song " Why".

American Idol Top 13!

Yes this is the top 13 of the American Idol. On Tuesday night the guys sang and on Wednesday night the girls sang. Then Thursday night was the result show.

There was over 33 million votes to come in.

America picks the top ten. Then the judges are going to pick six contestants to sing for there life and one of the three spots that the judges get to pick.

Yes this week the judges had to go from 42 contestants down to 24. It was a really hard decision for the three judges this week.

American Idol In Las Vegas!

Yes this was a really sad day to a lot of contestants. There was 70 contestants last night and they had to get down to 40 contestants last night.

Day 1- They had to do music from the 50's. They are at the Viva Elvis Stage tonight. It is another group night and the groups are suppose to be 3-4 people.

1st Group- It was two guys and two girls. I think they all did really good. Only two guys and one girl made it.

2nd Group- It was two guys and two girls. They did alright not the best. They all made it.

3rs Group- It was one guy and three girls. They sang alright and they all made it.

4th Group- It was three girls. I think they did really good and only two of them made it.

5th Group- It was two guys and two girls. They did alright and they all made it.

6th Group- It was two guys and they had real low voices. I think they did really good and they both made it.

7th Group- It was one guy and two girls. Not real bad but alright. They all made it.

Day 2- The rest of the groups. I did get the songs that they sang on day 2.

1st Group- It was four guys and they sang Jailhouse Rock. It was awesome and only three of the guys made it.

2nd Group- It was three guys and one girl. They sang Burning Love It was not that bad. All of them made it.

3rd Group- It was two guys and two girls. They sang Blue Suede Shoes and it was not to bad one guy and one girl made it.

4th Group- It was three girls and they sang You Keep Me Hangin' On I think they did really good. Only two of the girls made it.

5th Group- It was one guy and two girls they sang Will You Leave Me Tomorrow it was alright. The two girls made it.

6th Group- It was four guys and they sang I Only Have Eyes For You I think they did great. The all made it.

7th Group- It was three guys and one girl they sang Sealed With A Kiss it was not to bad. Two guys and One girl made it.

They had to make more cuts to get down to forty contestants. So here is who I know got cut-
 Gabbie, Skylar, Angie, Candice, Johnny Jairon and Brittany.

Next week they all sing there own song and then they have to go in front of the judges individual to talk to them and  see if they make it.  Only the top 24 will stay next week. So this means they have to do there absolute best next week.

So far the ones I do like are Phil Phillips and there is a couple of the younger singers. I don't remember there names right now.

American Idol Last Day In Hollywood!

Yes this was the last day in Hollywood.

There was 185 contestants left tonight. About half of them were really sick. Some of them fainted, had the flu or stomach flu. It was a really bad night for them. They were also tired and scared.

The first half of the show was group night and I have some results from that part.

1st group- It was four girls and only two of them made it.

2nd group- It was four guys and one girl and all of them made it.The whole group was awesome.

3rd group- It was two guys and three girls one guy and three girls made it.

4th group- It was two guys and two girls only one guy made it. This group had one girl that fainted and the other girl was the one that lives in the woods.

5th group-It was  four girls and one guy- No one made it.

6th group-It was two girls and three guys they all made it. The whole group was not bad a all.

7th group- It was two girls and two guys only one guy made it. One of the girls kept fainting and they didn't was to take a chance on her health. I don't blame them.

8th group- It was four guys and they all made it. This one guy I do not like at all the cowboy. He is way to bossy with the rest of them and thinks he knows everything.

Second half of the show was the last day in Hollywood-
This is singing with the Idol band. Randy and Steven played with the band at the beginning of the show that was really awesome to watch.

I have some that I seen on t.v. to let you know what I thought of them -
Joshua- Was not bad but not his best
Colton- Not bad at all
Phil Philips- That was awesome and he had his own guitar it was a Gold Top Guitar.
Craton- I thought was really good.
Reed- Was going to sing without the band but then was told he could not do that. So he had a half hour to figure out a song to do with the band. He did really good and he played the drums also.
Skylar- She is 17yrs old and was really good.
Rachelle- I thought she did great even though she messed up at the beginning.
Adam- I was really good and the judges said he is like Casey.

The final cut last night was-

Room 3- Didn't make it- Rachelle was in this room
Room 4- Stays- Brittany was in this room

Thursday is in Las Vegas and it will be group night again.

American Idol in Hollywood!

Yes I know I am really late with this. I have been busy with my family and work.

There was a total of 309 tickets in total handed out this year. This past week half of the people would be sent home.

Wednesday night- The guy that had the ear surgery did not make it. I was hoping he would make it.

68 people went home on the first day.

Second day- Jane Carey went home this is Jim Carey's daughter.

The girl that her boyfriend had the stroke last year made it.

Then at the end of the day a 17yr old girl fell off the stage. She is alright she was just dehydrated. She did make it.

I was not home to see what happened on Thursday night. That was group night. I just can't wait to find out on Wednesday then I can get you completely up to date on here. I just wanted to get you a quick up date on here. I would really like to hear from anyone that is watching the show to find out what happened on Thursday's show. American Idol in Portland Oregon and St. Louis Missouri!

I know I did not write yesterday about American Idol in Oregon. I was really sick to my stomach. So I am going to write about both of them today. I will write something short about both of them.

Portland Oregon- They handed out 45 tickets Wednesday night. I was really shocked about that. I did not think they handed that many out. But I have to remember we only see an hour long show.

The one that really got to me is the girl that is taking care of her boyfriend. Her boyfriend had a real bad stroke last Easter and she has been taking care of him and put her dreams on hold. But now that he is doing better she came to try out and she made it to Hollywood. She is really good too.

A single mom of two small children is going through a divorce and her son said she is the next American Idol. It was so cute. She did make it and her son goes my mom is going to Hollywood.

There was a guy that sang a Queen song and I thought he did really good. The song was really hard to do and he did not make it.

St. Louis Missouri- They handed out 46 tickets last night. One more than Wednesday night.

This lady brought her daughter into the audition with her and it was really cute. The little girl was dancing while her mom was singing. She made it.

Then Steven went into the room where the people where waiting to sing and gave them all a pep talk. I thought that was really neat to do. It really helped the contestants.

There was this guy who is in a family band and they sing country music. His dad was in the band also but then his dad was on drugs and alcohol really bad and went into rehab. His dad is clean now. The guy sang a rock song and he was really good. Steven said he would really like to meet his father. So the guy is going to set that up.

Next week starts the cuts in Hollywood. I can't wait to see that. I would really like to hear what you have to say about what is going on with American Idol!♥

American Idol in Houston Texas!

Yes American Idol was in Houston, Texas last night. It was a really interesting show.

They handed out 54 tickets last night. 

At the beginning of the show it was a lot of cowboys that could not sing worth anything. 

Then there was a girl from Mississippi and she was really good. She had the right stuff and she made it to Hollywood.

After she sang it looked like everything was turning around for the judges.

Then a 28 yr old lady that is going through a divorce came out. She was really good. Her and her husband at the time had a band. But then she was pregnant and she had to put her dreams on hold until last night because she is going to Hollywood. Her dreams are coming true now.

Then after lunch a battle between the judges started. Because the guys started to pick people that really could not sing and Jennifer was really getting frustrated.

On the second day there was a guy that was born with no ears. When he was younger he had to go through a lot of surgeries to get ear drums and ears. I will tell you one thing he can really sing and also he made it to Hollywood.

Then there was a guy who was singing and Randy tried to stop him but Jennifer stopped Randy. This guy really could sing good. He made it to Hollywood also.

Then there was a girl this was her second audition her first one was at age 16. She did make it to Hollywood her first time but not after first cut. This time she did make it to Hollywood again and I hope she makes if further because she is really good.

Next week Wednesday they will be in Portland, Oregon. I would really like to hear what you have to say.

American Idol in Aspen, Colorado!

Yes Wednesday night American Idol was in Aspen, Colorado.

31 tickets where given out last night in Aspen. 

There was a lot of people from all over at this one. I just could not believe that one came all the was from Virginia to audition.

The one that I do remember the most is the girl with bipolar. From what her mom and her said on t.v. about how she was it just brought tears to my eyes. I was just happy that she is on her medicine and was able to audition. I just hope she really makes it far because she is really good.

Then there was a Lady Gaga wannabe that I didn't really like. I thought she just needed a little more time to get her voice right.

There was a guy who wrote his own song and sang that for his audition. His friends and family said he would not make it with singing his own song. He made it to Hollywood.

The last audition was a guy  that called himself cyclops. He was dressed like a hippie and he was from Davenport. Iowa. He was really strange and he did not make it. Randy was leaving the room while he was still singing.

Like all the time there are good and bad singers at the auditions.

Thursday they will be in Houston, Texas. I can't wait to see how this one will go.

American Idol in San Diego!

Yes American Idol was in San Diego last night. The auditions took place on the U.S.S. Midway fleet. Yes right on an aircraft carrier. I thought that was really neat.

One guy got the gold ticket and went out to tell his family while they were so happy the guy hit is head on one of the pipes.

The first person that had there audition was a girl and let me tell you skanky is the right word. The shorts was like Daisy Duke shorts and a strapless bikini top. Yes I am sure all the guys there really liked the show. I am sorry I would never let my girls dress like that especially for on t.v..

Then there was a girl named Jane Carrey. She was really good but then to come and find out she is Jim Carrey's daughter. Some people are going to think that she made it because she told the judges who her father is. I just hope that was not the case because I would like to see her make it all on her own not because of who her father is.

Then there is Steven Tyler goofing off. When I seen this on the commercials during the football game I was laughing so hard. When I did see this during the show I was laughing just as hard. He knows how to have a good time.

Yes there was a lot of people that didn't make it last night but then there was the good ones that made it.

The show didn't start until really late last because the football game went into overtime.

This Wednesday they are going to be in Aspen, Colorado. I can't wait to see how this one is going to go. I would really like to hear what you are thinking about the show!
